Back to work. Starting afresh. Sunshine. Cleaning my office. Listening to Cat Power. Gillian Welch. Aretha Franklin. Edith Piaf. Reading outside on the little deck off the staffroom. Staring out my window. Watching the boats on the harbour. Eating a nectarine. Wandering home. Hemming a skirt and a dress. Drinking Pinot Gris. Watching the last episode of Mad Men Season 2. Lovely.

Love the outfit. Very '500 days of summer'.
ReplyDeleteHi Laurel! I love your blog! I've been browsing your stuffs here, and I saw this style. I like it as it reminds me of Zooey Deschanel in 500 Days of Summer. I love that movie too. And speaking of cleaning your office... Ha! I'm planning to reorganize our office too. But first, we have to contact some office cleaning services (New York-based) for start-offs. We already packed up some things, and the commercial cleaning (NYC) guys will be coming tomorrow, I think. Anyway, I hope to see more of your posts. I bookmarked you already, by the way.
